Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in, you can relax or explore the streets of Thamel. A scenic morning flight takes you from Kathmandu to Lhasa, offering dramatic aerial views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, as the flight crosses into the Tibetan plateau. Upon arrival in Lhasa, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and begin acclimatizing to the high altitude of the Tibetan capital. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner accompanied by traditional Tibetan cultural performances.

Today is dedicated to exploring some of Lhasa's most significant sites, including the sacred Jokhang Temple and the lively Barkhor Square, where pilgrims have circled the old city's sacred sites for centuries. This day offers a rich introduction to Tibetan spiritual life and the daily rhythms of the capital.

A second full day of sightseeing continues with visits to the magnificent Potala Palace, the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama, along with the peaceful Norbulingka Palace and the significant Sera Monastery, one of Lhasa's great centers of Tibetan Buddhist learning.

Today's journey takes you from Lhasa toward Gyantse, a historic trading town set against dramatic mountain scenery, passing high altitude lakes and traditional villages along the way. After exploring Gyantse's ancient sites, the journey continues to Shigatse, Tibet's second largest city, where you will spend the night.

After time spent exploring Shigatse's monasteries and historic sites, you will drive back to Lhasa, retracing the scenic route through the Tibetan countryside. On arrival, you will check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for your scenic return flight to Kathmandu. On arrival, you will transfer to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, reflecting on your journey through Tibet.
